One of the “river puppies,” Rio is an extremely calm puppy (we know that’s weird to say about a heeler, but it’s true). And Rio is oh so snuggly. He would be happy to sit in your lap all day and watch movies. That’s not to say he isn’t a puppy at heart and wants to play! Rio is active and playful, and he loves to run and fetch a frisbee. He is crate trained and almost house trained as well.  He gets along well with all dogs and even gets along well with his foster’s cat. He has a sweet calm demeanor and would be a great family dog. His momma was a white GSD and daddy was a pure blue heeler.
