Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Catahoula Leopard Dog / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (not spayed) : : Baby : : Large
Kora is about 14 weeks old, found as a stray and taken to a rural Florida shelter. She is now with a foster and we are seeking a foster to adopt home for her!! She has had her 2nd shots and vet visit and all is well!! She is too young for spay and will be released with a spay/neuter contract.
Kora is fairly high activity, great with other dogs, cats are okay. Kids are okay.. But please remember she is very much a puppy, and all such training for a pup applies. She is being crate trained house trained and all is going well. We recommend a fenced yard, some playful canine companions, and older kids just becasue she is learning manners.
Kora came in with her brother Palmer. They are pretty much bonded probably because they have had only had each other. We are going to try some separation trials so that we can be sure one does not despair without the other. We are willing to split them up after some separation trials but only to a home with another dog that is kind considerate and playful. We are also willing to adopt them together to the right person and right now are leaning that way.
Please put some thought into having a pup or two pups before applying for these babies. They are clean slates and we want the best for them. Applicants should be able to work from home or have access to home to let pups out after 4 hours, other stipulations are noted above. They are currently fostered in West Palm Beach area.
