Warren is an approximately two-year-old, 38-lb stumpy tail cattle dog, currently being fostered in Brandon, FL (Hillsborough County). This super sweet, happy boy just wants to play and explore. He loves to play with his foster sisters constantly (until they say “stop!”), hang out with his humans, and go for long walks. He also enjoys taking naps, chasing shadows, chewing antlers, and digging and playing in the yard. He has been known to counter-surf. Warren is a strong, energetic force, but he is very responsive to gentle correction. He is deaf or hard of hearing, and because of this, his bark is quite quiet and hoarse. Warren knows how to “site” and “down,” and he is working on “watch me.” He is house trained and crate trained. He would benefit from additional training to help build his confidence, strengthen his leash skills and establish boundaries and manners. Warren is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. He has an assertive temperament, but he can be shy and cautious of new people. He requires a home with a fenced-in yard and a companion dog so he has someone to play with and learn from. He does not do well with cats.
