Noah is available for foster/foster to adopt. He is currently located at Applause your Paws in Miami and is in a board and train. Noah's previous foster had a medical emergency and could no longer care for Noah. It worked out well as Noah needed some work on learning to be a dog and dog etiquette.
Noah is an approx. 1 year old cattle dog, possibly Carolina dog mix who is approx. 35 lbs. Noah is a happy and energetic dog, looking for his next adventure. He is just learning about the world around him and needs continued socialization and positive experiences. His foster quickly taught him to sit and was working with him on self-control exercises. Noah did extremely well with this and he wants to work for you. He is also food motivated which helps with the training. While in training at Applause your Paws, he's had some good breakthroughs! He was relaxing and trusting enough to be lured into AND offer a down position. This is a big deal as it shows his comfortability towards people in a strange surrounding. They are also working on sit, come, wait and socialization. He's still progressing so we have to keep our eyes on how far we've come instead of how far we have to go.

Noah doesn’t seem to be bothered by thunder but some loud noises do get his attention. He does need to be fed separately as his foster noticed some food aggression which can be managed and isn't uncommon in some rescue dogs. Noah is crate-trained and potty-trained; heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, neutered.
